PROCUREMENT OF PIANO FOR OSLO CULTURAL SCHOOL 1. INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE Oslo municipality, c/o the Agency for Culture/Oslo Cultural School, considers the procurement of pianos and would thus like to carry out a market survey. The objective of the market survey is to obtain information on which instruments and systems are available in the market, and to get a better decision basis before any procurement process is implemented. Oslo Cultural School would particularly like to gain knowledge on: * what new and used pianos the market can offer within the relevant economic framework, * Which instruments the tenderers believe is particularly suitable for professional teaching activities and comprehensive use, * relevant quality and technical differences between relevant instruments, * price level and what is normally included in the delivery, * warranty, service, maintenance and expected lifetime, * possibilities for trials and professional evaluation of the instruments, * availability and expected delivery time. * relevant climate and environmental properties for new and used instruments respectively. The market survey shall contribute to Oslo municipality designing an appropriate, proportional and competitive tender documentation if the decision is made to proceed with the procurement.
