The Renville Management Committee has been formed by the Oranmore Maree GAA Club, to develop a state of the art regional sports and community centre on a 34 acre site adjacent to Rinville Park, 3km from Oranmore. The project has been awarded a grant from the 2024-25 Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) to develop walkways around the Renville Grounds which would be an extension of existing walkways in Rinville Park. The ORIS funding is from the of Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht and the project is to be delivered under the supervision of Galway County Council on behalf of the Department. The project is specifically to develop low level lit walkways around the boundary of the site that would link in with the walkways around the existing Rinville Park facility.
